On June 8, 2026, the new symposium “Freiberg Forum Biobased Materials” (FFBM) was held for the first time as part of the 77th BHT.

With 14 presentations and 12 posters, the day focused on the use and development of biobased materials. IĢƵN also presented a talk titled “Use of the whole hemp plant as a source of raw materials for regional and sustainable building materials” at the new symposium, which focused on IĢƵN's current topics related to the use of hemp as a source of raw materials for sustainable building materials.
